Well, we have been open now for about 2 Months, we are really making a name for ourselves, We have people all the way in Yellowstone, telling customers to stop in at the Cafe in Dubois!
It is getting to be a little much for me, We are busy all the time! Still missing all of you in California! I Love you all!

I can't believe it!

I can't believe I actually own and run a restarant! I also cant believe how much the people love us and want us here, the people LOVE the food! Charles gives them HUGE portions and we will make them anything they want, on the menu or not!
The word is getting around that we are open and we are getting busier and busier, but it is fun, the cowboys give me a bad time, and I give it right back, They are so cute, and they all gather here to eat and visit, it is a fun place!

We are Open!

Well, we have been open for about a week and a half, we are getting really busy, especially during lunch! We have every seat full, and today about 10 firemen sat out on the sidewalk outside the restaurant! I think I need to hire someone for the lunch hours, and everyone is bugging us to stay open from 5am to 10pm, man it is just Charles and I doing this. We take 2 days a week off, One day we have to go to Idaho Falls to do the shopping and one day to veg!
An onrie old Cowboy! (Actually I love him to death!) Yelled as he was leaving, with the place full "Keep your G** D*** Doors open!"AHHHH!

Ready to Open!

Well, after MUCH work, we are ready to open! The Health Inspection went great, we got an A rating! 100% not one thing to fix! The food is on its way and we are opening for a practice run on Aug. 8-9, you are all invited. Then we will officially open on the 12th, we also found out the County Fair is being held here in Dubois on the 13th through the 16th so we are expecting to be quite busy! Wish me luck!

The Move to Idaho

Well I did it! I moved to Idaho! We are working hard on the restaurant, trying to open, We are waiting on the Health Dept. to give us our inspection, then we will be ready, it is looking real cute, Anyone have any old cowboy stuff for decorating, let me know, I could use it for decorating. I sure miss all of my family in California, but it will be nice to get to know Brittons little family better. The lifestyle up here is so relaxed compared to Calif. There is no traffic which is a great plus!!!! I just wish I could get all my family to move here! I love you all and will keep you posted on our Progress!

Updates on my medical stuff!

The date of my hysterectomy is on March 25th, The Hip replacement is on hold, the doctor thinks maybe it is all having to do with the herniated discs in my back, so he is doing further tests on my back and hip, And the next tests for the spots in my breasts is on March 20th. Wish me luck!!

My crazy Weekend

Last weekend, Todd and Stephanie went to Arizona, so I got to watch the boys for a few days, I still had Landon and Ammon so we had to keep them from getting bored, Charles and I took them for walks out to the desert, They had fun picking up the boards and junk and looking for critters, we found lots of Ants and even a very pretty blue centipede. They reminded me of my kids when they were small, looking for lizards and scorpians and snakes!

They got to throw rocks out in the canal, they had a very good time playing with their cousins.

Happy 2009

After Christmas this year, Andy got Richie Booth to come to his house and take our family pictures, he did a great job and I am so thankful to all my children for showing up for pictures, (Everyone except Todd and his little family was there) we missed him so much but we are together so little that we had to take it while we had the chance.

As we start a new year, I want to tell you all how much I love you and hope you all get everything you need, want and deserve this year!
