christmas Day!

We had a lot of fun on Christmas Day, First thing in the morning, we went to Ambers and woke them up to see what the kids got from Santa and to see all their presents, then we came home and had our own little Christmas (Brandy, Dylan and I) after that we got ready and went to Toddys house to see their family and Stephanie and Todd made a wonderful Christmas Dinner. It was a really nice Day!

Landon went with me to the ward Christmas Party, he wanted to ask Santa for a car! When we got there and actually saw the old elf, he was a bit scared, he complained at first then he got up the courage and ran to Santas lap, he said "What do you want for Christmas" Landon yelled "A Car" then booked it off his lap, it was so cute! Can anyone guess who Santa Is?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! We had a great Thanksgiving, we went to Todd and Stephanies beautiful new house and had a wonderful dinner and a lot of fun! the kids had a blast playing Rock Band, We got to watch the Cowboys beat the Jets to make them 10 and 1. Shane and Landon got to ride motorcycles and have fun together. It was a great day altogether!

I guess I need to tell you some things that maybe you don't know about me!

1- I am pretty private anymore so I hate these things!

2- I have no political affiliation, I am not republican, democrat, or any of the others. I can still vote though! (I did this mostly to get out of Jury Duty)

3- Avocados are my favorite fruit.

4- I have the best job in the world! I get paid by the County to watch my grand kids! (awesome huh?)

5- I am probably the most blessed person in the world! with all the trials and crap that has gone on in my life, I can now see how truly blessed I am!

Halloween night!

On Halloween we had so much fun, Dylan had set up his amp and microphone to make scary sounds to scare the trick or treaters, by the middle of the night he was serenading the whole neighborhood, singing things like, titanic, its raining men, and other Non-Halloween songs, it was so funny, I haven't laughed that hard in years!
Landon, Ammon and Emma came to visit also.

Did you all survive the winds?

As you all from So. Cal know, we had class 2 hurricane winds this last few days. how did you all fare through it? We didn't do to bad! lost a few shingles off the roof, got a few trees trimmed, had some TV cables snap and fall into the back yard, and unfortunately got my new truck sandblasted, and pitted, but not alot of damage. Autumn had a little help getting the leaves off the trees, The sky out here was dirty and brown, but NO fires though! (knock on wood!) Hope you all made it okay!

Well, I spoke too soon as always,
Our cable company, Time Warner, decided not to serve Cabazon anymore, so if we wanted TV we had to choose between Directv or Dish Network, we decided to go with Directv, Verizon has our phone and DSL so we could get a discount getting Directv by going through them, anyway, they came to install the dish, and the idiots that did it, stuck the dish right in the middle of our roof and ran the cables down the roof and drove big ol nails through the roof, I called the company cause I had a sick feeling that they ruined it, they came out and confirmed that yes indeed they did a crappy job and put nails through my roof, so right now we are in the beginning stages of a BIG MESS!

We are boring!

Since we started this thing, I have realized just how boring we are! I have nothing new or interesting to write about! I am so grateful!!! I have had so much drama in the past, that I am so happy just to have a "normal" life at the moment, Hopefully it will stay that way! I love you ALL!

Our Family is doing really well, Brandylan is a Senior this year and doing very well, she is working at the Oak Tree Village giving Pony rides. It is apple season so she is working hard. Dylan is working at the Cabazon Mall, at Bass, he is doing very well, his health is good and he is as active as always, riding skateboards and building ramps. He is a good kid! I have started working at the school again this year and I love it! If you have to work, the school is the way to go, no weekends and all holidays off, so much better than waitressing, (I miss the tips though) Britton is doing great, Andy and Yolanda are in Texas and are traveling alot (so I hear), Sam and Melissa are expecting their first baby (a girl) in January!, Todd and Stephanie are doing good, living in Temecula. Amber is super busy with her 3 little babies, they are alot of work, but alot of fun too!
